During those early years, she lived on a small island where nothing was easy, but life was often exciting and adventuresome. She developed her natural ability to negotiate, communicate, connect with others, and solve problems—traits that have enabled her to become one of the top agents in the industry.
Amy’s real estate career has been fast and furious with exceptional results because she expects nothing less from herself. After graduating with high honors from Michigan State University, she worked in human resources management before taking her love of people into a career that better matched her drive to succeed and make a difference, too. Since beginning her career in real estate, she has held herself to the highest standards. She will never promise the impossible, but she has an amazing way of exceeding her client’s expectations. You would be hard pressed to find someone with equal enthusiasm, attentiveness to detail, negotiation skills, and drive. Amy’s clients often become her lifelong friends and strong referral source.
Living in Grand Rapids since the age of nine, Amy has called Easttown, Ada, Ottawa Hills and Grand Rapids Township home at some point. She and her family currently live in Forest Hills. Amy is also an investor in real estate within Grand Rapids. She has had success with her investments and wants to be sure her clients do, too. She has expertise working with sellers, buyers, and investors. She has sold hundreds of homes for over 17 years.
When her father’s life was cut short at the age of 50, Amy found more reason to be purposeful in her own life, with a strong desire to be of service to others, whether they be her clients, family or friends. Every day matters deeply to Amy, and she makes the most of each moment. When she isn’t working, you will find Amy, her husband, and two daughters spending family time enjoying all the fun and exciting activities throughout West Michigan. They take advantage of the outdoor events, including exploring all of the small beach towns and apple orchards, fun sporting events and concerts, and the variety of amazing restaurants. Recently they purchased a cottage in Newaygo and that has become her "happy place". firstname.lastname@example.org 616-304-2818

From a young age, Meghan has always had a passion for hospitality. She grew up in Southeast Missouri in a home where gatherings among family and close friends were frequent. This instilled in her a love for home environments where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. In addition to entertaining, her parents were constantly renovating our early 1900’s craftsman home. They spent many Saturday mornings at home improvement stores. Meghan watched and learned as they put hard work, time, and passion into making their house a beautiful home. These experiences in her youth paved a natural pathway to her career in hospitality.
Meghan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri. After graduating college, she began her professional career in hospitality sales with Marriott International. For the majority of her tenure with Marriott, she represented the downtown Chicago market. Her last position was Senior Sales Manager representing a portfolio of seven high-end hotels in Chicago. From planning elaborate wedding day receptions to negotiating contracts with Fortune 500 companies for executive level meetings, her professional experience revolved around her love for hospitality and for taking care of people. Over the course of Meghan's eleven-year career with Marriott International, it was the strong and meaningful relationships that she built with her clients that she valued the most.
After meeting her husband in 2011, Meghan moved from Chicago to Grand Rapids and continued to work remotely in sales for Marriott. Grand Rapids quickly became home to her, and she enjoyed exploring the variety of neighborhoods and culture this dynamic city has to offer. As her family grew, she wanted to create the same kind of home environment that she grew up in. In her spare time, Meghan and her husband renovated and sold their first condo in Kentwood and then purchased and are in the process of restoring their current home in Grand Rapids. She enjoys the rewarding work of improving and adding equity to their home, while creating a welcoming environment for her family and friends. Meghan's interest in building equity in her own homes led her to research home listings and to educate herself on the Grand Rapids real estate market. Blending her passion for homes and design with her extensive sales background evolved to the decision to make real estate her full time career. She loves working with people and will bring the same level of trust, commitment, enthusiasm, and attention to detail that have served her well throughout her professional and personal life. Meghan's ultimate goal is to help others purchase homes where they too can create a foundation of joy and happiness.
